For the 2013 Accord, Honda puts an 8-inch LCD at the top of the dashboard, standard at all trims. Models without navigation use that display to show phone and stereo information. Only the EX-L and V-6 Touring trim get navigation, a hard-drive-based system on which I noticed maps much improved over Honda's current offering.
Google Images
One odd addition to the interface in the top-trim Accords is a monochrome touch screen just above the climate controls. A jog dial, similar to that used by Acura, operates the color LCD at the top of the dashboard. Honda could easily show all infotainment functions on the 8-inch LCD, so I don't understand the necessity of the smaller screen, except as a means of showing current audio information while the main LCD shows route guidance. The models without navigation get a slightly altered control interface, lacking the monochrome touch screen but keeping the big, color LCD and jog dial.
Google Images
One really intriguing feature in the car was Honda's new blind-spot monitoring system, called LaneWatch. Unlike other automakers, Honda puts a camera in the right side mirror, and shows the view from that side of the car on the center LCD. I could see the lanes next to the Accord on the display without having to look across to the right side mirror, or turn my head around to look through the rear side windows. The left side does not get the same treatment, as Honda says it would be counterintuitive to look to the right when trying to make a left lane change. I found myself undecided about this type of blind-spot monitoring, and preferring that used by other automakers, which lights up a warning icon somewhere around the side mirror if a car is in the next lane over.
Google Images
Honda is putting LaneWatch in lower-trim models as well. I took the wheel of a four-cylinder model with six-speed manual transmission, which lacked navigation. It also had the LaneWatch feature, along with a Bluetooth phone system and a USB port for iPod and USB drives. For app integration, the car had Pandora and the new HondaLink service, which comes standard in all EX-L and Touring trim sedans, and in the EX and EX-L Coupes. HondaLink uses the driver's own smartphone as its data connection.

What I was really looking forward to in driving the four-cylinder Accord was trying out the new direct-injection engine. This 2.4-liter engine makes 185 horsepower and 181 pound-feet of torque. That is only 8 more horsepower than the previous 2.4-liter, but 19 more pound-feet of torque. This Accord drove as easily as the V-6 version, and the six-speed manual was enjoyable to shift, as the gate felt precise yet comfortable.

With the hood up, the clatter of the injectors was very audible, but that sound did not intrude into the cabin. The only spot where I noticed the lessened power was on an ascent. Forced to downshift to third, I found the rising engine speed sounded off with an unholy whine that overcame the fancy noise cancellation in the cabin.

Honda reduced the number of buttons on its steering wheel and dashboard. After the four-cylinder with the manual, I took a shorter drive in one with the new CVT, the automatic transmission option for all the four-cylinder Accords. As CVTs do, this one delivered linear acceleration, without any big rpm drops for big gear changes. When I put the gas pedal down, the CVT dutifully grabbed a lower ratio to give the car more speed. It did not eliminate the struggle I had felt with the other four-cylinder when trying to get the power up.

Honda built a reputation on economy cars that displayed a touch more quality than the competition. To this day, Honda's lineup consists of practical, well-built cars. However, the company has not had a new idea in years. The 2013 Honda Accord heralds the revivification of Honda's collective brain cells, bringing with it new technologies necessary for the company to face off against its already modernized competition.

At a press preview, I drove a few of the many variants of the 2013 Accord about to be unleashed on the American public. Honda's sales model has always been a bit different from other automakers'. Rather than adding options piecemeal, Honda buyers have to settle for whatever equipment comes with the trim levels they select. Even navigation is considered a different trim level within the Honda system.

The Chevrolet Traverse is a good alternative to the Pilot because of its solid reliability rating and excellent cargo space. Reviewers think the Traverse is a good all-around SUV with a comfortable interior and car-like handling. It also has excellent safety scores.
Google Images
If you want a capable commuter SUV that can also go off-road, the Jeep Grand Cherokee is worth a look. The Grand Cherokee has legendary off-road performance and reviewers say its interior is comfortable no matter if you’re on the highway or climbing steep mountains. The Grand Cherokee has a comparable reliability rating, but has lower fuel economy than the Pilot and only seats five.

The eight-seat 2013 Honda Pilot comes in four trims: LX, EX, EX-L and Touring. All trims come with a V6 engine matched to a five-speed automatic transmission. 2013 sees new standard equipment, which include Bluetooth, a touch-screen infotainment system, USB port and a backup camera. Higher trims include leather seats, heated front seats and satellite radio. The Pilot hasn’t been redesigned since 2009, so this overview uses applicable research and reviews from the 2009 to 2013 model years.
Google Images
The 2013 Honda Pilot offers a decent list of standard features, but falls well short of other midsize crossovers in terms of performance, interior quality and cargo space.

The Honda Pilot comes equipped with a V6 engine and a five-speed automatic transmission on all trims. Front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is available. The Pilot isn’t the most powerful in the class, but critics think its power is adequate in most circumstances. Auto critics think the Pilot’s handling is decent for the class, but they say it’s harder to maneuver in city driving compared to other midsize SUVs, and has squishy brakes. The Pilot has good fuel economy estimates for the class, with 18/25 mpg city/highway with front-wheel drive.

Critics are largely disappointed with the Pilot’s interior fit and finish and note that the cabin has too much hard plastic to be considered attractive. While a few critics think the interior is bland, some like the basic look, which they say helps keep the Pilot’s controls and gauges intuitive, even when equipped with the optional navigation system. The Pilot seats eight, and test drivers praise the first- and second-row seats, saying they are supportive and comfortable. The third row gets mixed reviews. Some say it is adult-friendly, while others feel that the seats should be left to kids. Standard features include Bluetooth, a backup camera and a touch-screen infotainment system. Notable optional features include navigation, an upgraded stereo system, satellite radio and a power liftgate.

The next-generation Fit is expected to debut before this new crossover model, and both models will be built at Honda's Celaya, Mexico assembly plant, which is scheduled to open early next year. A new sedan is also expected to round out the lineup of Fit-based products.
Google Images
In terms of this concept's styling, there is plenty of the new Honda Accord in its face, and it looks like a more rugged version of the Nissan Juke, as well as a more practical alternative to the Hyundai Veloster. With its short overhangs, the concept measures 169.3 inches in length, making it about eight inches longer than a Fit hatchback and nine inches shorter than the CR-V. Honda confirmed that its new crossover will debut a telematics system for Honda, and it will use one of Honda's new Earth Dreams engines; we previously reported that this engine would be a 1.5-liter I4 paired with a continuously variable transmission.
Google Images
We've been hearing a lot of rumblings this year about a new crossover based on the Honda Fit, and now we finally get to see what this B-segment CUV might look like. Called the Urban SUV Concept, Honda's new small crossover has made its debut at the Detroit Auto Show, but we'll have to wait until 2014 to see the production version on sale in the US. Honda says the production version of this concept, whatever it will be called, will slot below the CR-V in terms of size and price.

2014 Honda Accord PHEV Review User Manual Pdf Download

2014 Honda Accord PHEV Review User Manual Pdf Download -
Google Images
The Accord Plug-In Hybrid takes some cues from the Fit EV (Honda is using the same home-charging partner, Leviton, for example, and the 6.6-kWh charger is the same in both vehicles), but we hope the Accord's sales figures will not be just as miniscule. The answer to that question will be based, in part, on the Accord PHEV's price (again, stay tuned for LA) and how it compares to other plug-in hybrids, like the Volt, Prius Plug-In and Ford C-Max Energi. Whoever wants a normal-looking alternative to those alternatives will do well to take a look at what Honda's done here. After all, you don't have to understand it to drive it.
Google Images
The Accord PHEV is kind of like Honda's project car. It's not the "daily driver" for the masses that the normal Accord, with expected annual sales of around 350,000, will be. Think of this car more like something that Honda is interested in and will get out of the garage/research lab now that the frustrated spouse (here, the EPA or CARB, take your pick) says Honda has to. This shadetree project wasn't a waste of time at all, since the PHEV is the first use of a new and complicated powertrain – one that works surprisingly well – that will someday play a much bigger role in the company's lineup.

The powertrain cycles through these three drive settings automatically, again emphasizing that this plug-in powertrain is easy to use. The battery is a 6.7-kWh air-cooled lithium-ion battery pack with active cooling and comes from Blue Energy, a Honda and GSYuasa joint venture, The small pack size means a full recharge takes less than an hour when using a Level 2 charger (or just three hours from a standard 120-volt outlet). Honda also gives an Elon Musk-approved 30-minute charge estimate: eight miles of range in 30 minutes over Level 2. Not quite Model S territory, but what is? In any case, if there's juice in the pack, the car will use it. Well, most of the time.
Google Images
This is where we get into HV and HV Charge modes. These have to do with the battery's state of charge (not which part of the drivetrain is sending power to where) and, again like the Volt and its Mountain Mode, allow you to choose when to deploy your electrons for forward momentum. When you engage HV mode, the car knows that you want to keep the battery's State Of Charge (SOC) at whatever level it's currently at. In fact, if you regain battery SOC (through a long regen, for example), the system will use up that "extra" SOC to increase efficiency while making sure the pack never drops below the level it was at when HV mode was turned on. Or, if you want to reset the battery SOC level at a higher level (after the regen event), just re-engage HV mode with a long push of the HV button.

2014 Honda Accord PHEV Exerior
To differentiate the exterior of the plug-in model, the Accord PHEV gets a unique front end with blue accents in the headlights, a model-specific grille and lower fascia. The back end has a different rear bumper cap for improved aero. Special badges and shuriken shapes in the exclusive wheels are also part of the program. This all comes across somewhat poorly in photos, though. We dug the design in person, but it's not everyone's cup of tea. The PHEV also gets LED headlights that are only otherwise available on the V6 and Touring trims in the gas-only version. There is only one trim line for the PHEV and it comes in three colors: White Orchid Pearl, Crystal Black Pearl or Burnished Silver Metallic.

2014 Honda Accord PHEV Interior

The interior is well thought out and functional for the most part. It's mostly the same inside as the sedan, but with an exclusive hybrid cluster and grey biofabric. Looking at the dash information area, the battery's state of charge is on the upper right, above the fuel tank gauge. On the left, the expected energy meter displays if you're draining electrons from the pack or putting them back in. Every Accord PHEV has adaptive cruise control but, as we said, the new star of the show here is LaneWatch.
Google Images
The cabin's thin pillars provide excellent visibility, but Honda is going one better. In every Accord PHEV – and on some of the higher-level trims levels of the standard car – Honda is including its new LaneWatch system. This is a small camera built into the passenger side mirror that shows you the scene in the driver's blind spot on the upper central info screen. The driver can select whether this view is constant (annoying), off (then what's the point?) or only turns on when you signal you're going to turn right (the way we used it). Even though the side view will displace navigation information, it's still an incredibly effective safety device and we suspect it won't take long for side view features like this to become as common as backup cameras are today. It's intuitive and you can see both the video screen and the actual mirror with one glance. We've got a video of the system in action in our First Drive of the 2013 Accord Sport.

2013 Ford GT90 Review Concept Automotive

2013 Ford GT90 Review Concept Automotive -
Google Images
Over the past four years, Pintek has already hashed out around 80 percent of the body using molds designed to mimic the original design of the GT90, and he's currently partnered with a Formula race car builder to produce the chassis. The designer has chosen to forsake the big V12 for a forced-induction 6.2-liter V8. With two turbos serving up plenty of boost, Pintek is aiming for a whopping 1,000 horsepower. The mid-mounted engine will be bolted to a six-speed manual transmission that puts power to the rear wheels.
Google Images
One of our all-time favorite concept car from Ford remains the GT90. As a modern interpretation of the Ferrari-besting GT-40, the GT90 offered all of the early '90s angles we could stand along with a 750-horsepower V12 engine and a theoretical top speed of 235 miles per hour.
Google Images
This is the kind of machine that middle-school day dreams are made of, and now Adam Pintek has set out to build a GT90 of his very own from scratch. Technically, the vehicle is simply a supercar with a striking resemblance to the old FoMoCo concept, but when Pintek is done, he should have a vehicle capable of besting some of the world's most legendary machines.

Nissan released the detailed images of the variant Nissan 370Z. Japanese manufacturers have been making the launch of the 370Z in the event the Paris Motor Show 2012, last week. Now, the Nissan 370Z is again show off by displaying detailed images of the new Nissan 370Z. Visible two-door car is more fresh with a few changes were presented.

2013 Nissan 370Z comes with a new front face, two vertical lights LED daytime running lights. Then also new designs on the front bumper. Two new colors are available on the Nissan 370Z this facelift, Midnight Blue and Magma Red. The new car also gets new features like the brakes with red calipers, alloy wheels measuring 18 and 19 inches, as well as minor changes to the car cabin.

Engine is still the same with the predecessor model, the V6 with a capacity 3.700cc. The machine is capable of producing power to reach 324 HP (241 kW), with a record of acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in just 5.5 seconds.

Seating

The 370Z’s seats get mixed reviews. Some auto writers say that the Z’s cockpit is rather snug, which may make it uncomfortable for taller drivers, while others counter that there’s ample space for a 6-foot-tall driver. Additionally, a handful of reviewers say that the 370Z’s thick roof pillars make for poor rearward visibility. The Z doesn’t have a back seat, so if additional passenger space is something you need, be sure to check out cars like the Ford Mustang or Hyundai Genesis Coupe. The base 370Z comes with cloth, manually-adjustable seats. Touring models come with leather seats that are heated and power-adjustable, while NISMO models get embroidered cloth seats with red stitching.

Interior Features

The base 2013 Nissan 370Z comes with standard features that include automatic climate control, push-button start and a four-speaker stereo with an auxiliary input jack. Options and features available on higher trims include a backup camera, navigation, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, a USB port and a Bose stereo system.

Reviewers praise the Nissan 370Z for its driver-friendly layout that features straightforward, intuitive controls. They also say that convertible models feature a soft top that folds back quickly and stores out of sight. However, one critic notes that the Z’s Bluetooth phone connection could offer better sound quality.

Cargo

The Nissan 370Z coupe has 6.9 cubic feet of trunk space, while the roadster offers 4.2 cubic feet. Although it’s small, some reviewers say that the Z’s trunk space is still useful. However, cars like the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro offer considerably more trunk space.

Review 2013 Honda Civic User Manual Guide Owners Pdf Download

Review 2013 Honda Civic User Manual Guide Owners Pdf Download - The five-seat 2013 Civic sedan and coupe are available in LX, EX and EX-L trims. There is also a Civic Hybrid model, which is reviewed separately, and a Natural Gas model. The base model has a four-cylinder engine and a five-speed manual transmission. The Honda Civic was redesigned for the 2012 model year, but Honda made significant updates for 2013 by improving interior quality and adding more standard features, such as air conditioning, a USB port, Bluetooth and a rearview camera. Since the 2012 and 2013 Civics are similar, this overview uses applicable research and reviews from both model years.
Google Images
Honda Civic Interior

Test drivers admire the 2013 Honda Civic’s interior, which is made with higher-quality materials than the outgoing Civic and help make the cabin more attractive. 2013 Civics also have more standard features than the 2012 model. According to reviewers, the Civic’s front and rear seats are roomy for adults, but it doesn’t have as much cargo space as its classmates.

Other Cars to Consider

Reviewers say the Mazda3 is the better pick for shoppers craving an agile small car with good engine power and high fuel economy ratings. Reviewers think the Mazda3’s second-row seats are cramped for adults, but its zippy performance may make up for its limited second-row space.

If you like the Civic but want all-wheel drive, check out the Subaru Impreza. Though the Impreza’s fuel economy ratings are worse than the Civic’s, they’re still impressive, especially when you consider that all-wheel drive is standard. Available as a sedan and hatchback, reviewers say the Impreza has comfortable rear seats and a quality interior.

Review Honda Civic

The 2013 Honda Civic ranks 21 out of 43 Affordable Small Cars. This ranking is based on our analysis of 21 published reviews and test drives of the Honda Civic, and our analysis of reliability and safety data.

According to critics, the 2013 Honda Civic’s improved interior materials and additional standard features make it class-competitive, but its performance and cabin space are merely adequate.

The Honda Civic comes in base, Si, HF and Hybrid models. The Honda Civic Hybrid is reviewed separately. Each has a different powertrain setup, but they all have a four-cylinder gasoline engine. The base Civic’s engine makes 140 horsepower, and while test drivers think it provides the Civic with good highway acceleration, they think some competitors feel more powerful. The EPA hasn’t released fuel economy ratings for the base Civic, but Honda says it averages 28/39 mpg city/highway. The Si’s four-cylinder engine produces 201 horsepower, and critics report that the difference in acceleration is noticeable. The base Civic has five-speed manual and automatic transmissions. Reviewers don’t complain about either one, but some wish that they had six gears like many rivals. For the 2013 model year, Honda tightened the Civic’s suspension, and say that the steering is balanced and that the ride isn’t too soft or too stiff.

2012 Honda Civic Hybrid User Manual Owners Guide Pdf Download

2012 Honda Civic Hybrid User Manual Owners Guide Pdf Download - The 2012 Honda Civic Hybrid is completely redesigned for the 2012 model year, and reviewers talk about the Civic Hybrid’s improved fuel economy ratings most. It gets 44/44 mpg city/highway, up from the 40/43 mpg city/highway the 2011 model got, according to Honda.

The 2012 Honda Civic Hybrid starts at about $24,000 and has a 1.5-liter i-VTEC engine that’s paired with an electric motor and a Continuously Variable Transmission.
Google Images
Because the 2012 gasoline based Honda Civic and the Honda Civic Hybrid have identical interiors, this review uses reviews from the gasoline version. The performance section, however, does not because these models have different powertrains.

Honda Civic Hybrid Interior

While the industry likes that the 2012 Honda Civic Hybrid is more spacious than its predecessor, they aren’t overly impressed with the interior. The leather seats that look like pillows because of the way the stitching gathers at the seams, and while the interior is functional, reviewers dislike the cheap plastics that look recycled. The Civic Hybrid’s boring colors and the interior can’t compare to the one on the Volkswagen Golf TDI. The Golf TDI also comes with 140 horsepower, 30 more than what the Civic Hybrid makes, which means it offers a better combination of power and quality.

Review Honda Civic Hybrid

While reviewers are impressed with the 2012 Honda Civic Hybrid’s improved fuel economy ratings, they are disappointed with its bland interior and predictable exterior.

In reviews for 2012 Honda Civic models with gasoline-only powertrains, there’s a common thread: Test drivers say the Honda Civic is a good car, but it’s struggling to keep up with competitors that offer nicer interiors, more options and lower base prices. These statements are also true for the Honda Civic Hybrid, but on the bright side, the Civic Hybrid does come with more standard features. For about $24,000, shoppers get Bluetooth, power windows and doors, a tilt and telescopic steering wheel and an AM/FM radio with a CD player and USB connection.

In preliminary EPA tests, Honda also reports that the Civic Hybrid’s fuel economy has increased to 44/44 mpg city/highway, up from the 2011 model’s 40/43 mpg city/highway. These ratings are good, but they come with a high price tag. $24,050 can be lot for an affordable small car, but this price tag is typical of entry level hybrids. The Toyota Prius, for example, starts at about $23,000 and gets 51/48 mpg city/highway – more than any hybrid on the market.

If you are set on a Civic Hybrid, you may be disappointed when you sit inside. Interior space has increased, but despite these adjustments, reviewers say the Civic Hybrid looks a lot like the outgoing model. It even seems cheap and bland compared to less expensive cars like the Hyundai Elantra and the Chevrolet Cruze.

Despite its faults, the automotive press finds that the Civic Hybrid is a good commuter car, but its high price, bland interior, and in some cases, lower fuel economy ratings make the competition more attractive. The "Civic is a solid, laudable update of a classy compact, undercut by missing features, road noises, hybrid shudders and strained-feeling gas engine," writes USA TODAY.

Following the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, car shoppers may find that there are a limited number of Civic Hybrid models available. That’s because the Honda Civic Hybrid is produced in Japan. The industry is expected to recover this fall, and experts suggest waiting until then to buy. You’ll be more likely to get the car you want at a good price.

Other Cars to Consider

There aren’t many affordable small hybrids that compete with the 2012 Civic Hybrid. If you’re after something super fuel efficient, try the Toyota Prius. It’s a midsize car, but costs about $23,000, which is about $1,000 less than the Civic Hybrid. It also has much higher EPA-estimated fuel economy ratings of 51/48 mpg city/highway.

For a hybrid with better performance, try the Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. It makes 166 horsepower, 56 more than the Honda Civic Hybrid. In addition to being more powerful, the Sonata Hybrid is classified as a midsize sedan, which means it has more interior space than the Civic Hybrid.

Review 2013 Honda CR-V User Manual Guide Owners Pdf downlload

Review 2013 Honda CR-V User Manual Guide Owners Pdf downlload - The 2013 Honda CR-V seats five and has standard front-wheel drive. A 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine and five-speed automatic transmission are standard on all models. All-wheel drive is optional. The CR-V comes in three trims: LX, EX and EX-L. The CR-V was redesigned last year and rolls into 2013 unchanged. As a result, this overview uses applicable research and reviews from 2012 and 2013.

Honda CR-V Interior

Test drivers note that the 2013 Honda CR-V has a sleek, attractive cabin design, as well as a spacious interior and useful cargo area, which combine to make the CR-V one of the most accommodating SUVs in its class. Despite these strengths, a few reviewers comment that there are still some areas for improvement. Some auto writers say that the CR-V’s interior materials could be nicer, while others write that the optional navigation system is outdated and difficult to use.

Other Cars to Consider

While it doesn’t have as much cargo space, the Chevrolet Equinox earns praise from reviewers for its high-quality interior and spacious second row, which features sliding seats. The base Equinox closely matches the CR-V’s fuel economy, and if you want more power, the Equinox is also available with a V6 engine.

The base Ford Escape offers fuel economy that’s nearly as good as the CR-V’s, and reviewers love the Escape’s agile handling and optional EcoBoost engines. While the Escape also has slightly less cargo space than the CR-V, test drivers say that there’s plenty of passenger space and ample legroom in the back seat.

Review Honda CR-V

While some rival SUVs offer more power, the 2013 Honda CR-V shines with nimble handling, a spacious interior and a standard rearview camera.

The 2013 Honda CR-V is powered by a four-cylinder engine, which is paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. Although some test drivers note that many rival SUVs offer transmissions with more gears or optional engines with more power, they still generally agree that the 2013 CR-V will perform adequately on your daily commute. With an EPA-estimated 23/31 mpg city/highway, the CR-V also uses less fuel than a number of SUVs in the class. Most test drivers are particularly pleased with the CR-V’s handling, saying that its small turning radius and car-like ride make the CR-V one of the most nimble SUVs in the segment.

Inside, reviewers find that the CR-V includes a spacious cargo hold and back seat, as well as comfortable and supportive front seats. Some members of the automotive press write that the CR-V’s interior materials could be nicer, and that the optional navigation system is difficult to use, but most say that if you’re looking for a small family SUV, the 2013 CR-V is certainly worth your consideration. The CR-V’s standard features include a backup camera, which is rare for the class, as well as a USB port and Bluetooth phone and audio streaming. Optional features include a moonroof, navigation, dual-zone climate control, leather upholstery and heated front seats.

Review 2012 Honda CR-Z User Manual Guide Pdf Download

Review 2012 Honda CR-Z User Manual Guide Owners Pdf Download - The CR-Z is available in base, EX and EX with navigation models. There is only one update to the CR-Z for the 2012 model year: Black seat fabric is available with models with a black exterior.
Google Images
Honda CR-Z Interior

Shoppers should know a few things when they check out the CR-Z. First, it’s a two-seater. Second, cargo space is merely adequate, so don’t expect to cram a lot in the back. Third, rearward visibility is very poor. Once you overcome these flaws, the press says the CR-Z’s sporty and futuristic interior isn’t so bad.

Reviewers think the 2012 Honda CR-Z is the best-performing hybrid car on the market, but warn shoppers that it isn’t the most fuel-efficient or spacious one available.

The Honda CR-Z is more frivolous than practical. It has great performance for a hybrid, but its fuel economy ratings are low for a hybrid, and some gas-only affordable small cars are more fuel-efficient. It’s also the only hybrid that seats just two people. Test drivers say that combined with poor rear visibility, these flaws may make the 2012 Honda CR-Z hard to live with.

Honda tried to accomplish a lot with the 2012 Honda CR-Z. The automotive press agrees that the CR-Z is a good attempt, but they don’t think the automaker created a hybrid that meshes high fuel economy ratings and sporty performance seamlessly. With these factors in mind, the CR-Z is best suited for shoppers in the market for a hybrid with good performance, but don’t mind lower fuel economy ratings and no rear seats.

Other Cars to Consider

The Mini Cooper’s funky exterior will appeal to shoppers considering the futuristic CR-Z, as will its outstanding handling abilities and ample power. While the Cooper has better performance than the CR-Z, its spunky, gas-only powertrain means fuel economy is lower. If you are willing to pay a little more for the Cooper, keep in mind that it seats up to four, but has less cargo space.

The Toyota Prius has the highest fuel economy ratings of any hybrid car on the market, but its impressive ratings come at a cost because performance is uninspiring and dull. But if you want to save money at the pump, the Prius’ exceptional fuel economy makes it a great choice. Five seats and more cargo space are additional bonuses.

Review 2013 Honda Crosstour User Manual Guide Owners Pdf Download

Review 2013 Honda Crosstour User Manual Guide Owners Pdf Download - Fuel economy has improved across the board, too, with four-cylinder models offering up to 22 mpg city and 31 highway, while the V-6 now gets up to 20/29 mpg. All-wheel-drive models drop 1 or 2 mpg versus those numbers.
Google Images
That's all fine and good, but the wake-up call still comes in the realization that the Crosstour is something more than just a five-door Accord, and that it neither drives better than the Accord Sedan nor has other attributes (like more ground clearance) to make up for it. The previous Honda Crosstour drove like an especially heavy, somewhat taller, and less nimble version of the Accord Sedan—and we expect the 2013 Crosstour to be no different in that respect, since the core fundamentals remain. The Crosstour continues to weigh about 300 to 500 pounds more, across the board, than a comparable 2013 Accord Sedan; but even not knowing that you'll be surprised to find that especially at lower speeds the Accord Sedan's nimble feel is simply missing here.
Google Images
The refresh given to the 2013 Crosstour makes one thing evident: Honda's clearly making an effort to cast it as more of a crossover in design. That said, not much has changed about the Crosstour's profile--yet it's one that definitely hasn't been to everyone's liking. The rounded roofline and five-door-hatchback design of the Crosstour can make it appear a bit hump-backed from some angles, although the front is recognizably Honda and tweaked this year (with a new slotted look in front for more visual width) to keep in pace with the look of the 2013 Accord Sedan. Finally, Honda's added more cladding, down at the doorsills and around the wheelwells—cluttering the look, if you ask us. In short, it still looks like an overgrown hatchback rather than a true crossover or SUV. Inside, the 2013 gets various materials upgrades, again to correspond to those used in the Accord Sedan.

The Crosstour retains four-cylinder and V-6 engines, and you'll probably be fine with the adequate performance of the base 192-horsepower four and five-speed automatic transmission. V-6 models get Honda's new Earth Dreams 3.5-liter V-6, rated at 278 horsepower and 252 pound-feet of torque, connected to a six-speed automatic with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters. While the Accord Sedan has been ushered over to a front-strut layout—more tunable for ride and handling, Honda says—the Crosstour maintains the double-wishbone layout that for a longtime was a point of pride for Honda enthusiasts. Handling is further aided by front and rear stabilizer bars along with a front strut tower bar, and the steering is hydraulic-assist—standing apart from the electric-assist systems that have been introduced across the new Accord lineup.

2013 Honda Fit User Manual Guide Owners Pdf Download

2013 Honda Fit User Manual Guide Owners Pdf Download - The Fit is available in three trims: Base, Sport and Sport with Navigation. All models have a four-cylinder engine, and a five-speed manual transmission is standard. An automatic, which can be paired with paddle shifters, is optional. The Honda Fit hasn’t changed much in the past few years, so this overview uses research and reviewers from the 2009 to 2013 model years.
Google Images
Honda Fit Interior

Test drivers are impressed with the Fit’s large cabin. From the outside, they say, you wouldn’t guess that it could hold a bike, surf board or comfortably seat four adults. Although reviewers agree that the Fit certainly is roomy, one thinks that competitors offer more features and have better interior quality.
Google Images
Other Cars to Consider

The Honda Fit doesn’t offer many optional features, but the Ford Focus has a lot of interior tech and safety features to choose from. Focus can come equipped with one of two infotainment systems, as well as a safety feature called MyKey that helps parents set limits on new drivers. Though the Focus doesn’t have as much cargo space as the Fit, it has good fuel economy ratings, an optional turbocharged engine and sedan and hatchback body styles.

If you want a hatchback with outstanding performance for the class, consider the Mazda3. Reviewers are impressed with its powerful engines and responsive steering, even on the base model. Keep in mind, though, that test drivers say the Mazda3’s second-row seats are cramped, and it doesn’t have as much cargo space as the Honda Fit.

Reviews Honda Fit

The 2013 Honda Fit offers ample passenger and cargo space for such a small car, but reviewers wish it had a more powerful engine, more optional features and a quieter cabin. An outstanding reliability score helps the Fit secure a spot at the top of its class.

While the Honda Fit hatchback’s four-cylinder engine isn’t powerful, reviewers still say the Fit is pretty fun to drive for a subcompact, thanks to its standard manual transmission and nimble handling. With the automatic transmission, the Fit averages up to 28/35 mpg city/highway, and although those ratings aren’t the highest in the class, they’re still good for a hatchback with as much cargo space as the Fit. Still, some members of the automotive press mention that competitors have quieter interiors, better brakes, higher fuel economy ratings and more powerful engines.

Despite these criticisms, reviewers note that no competitor can match the Honda Fit’s interior space. The five-seat cabin offers front and rear seats with plenty of space for adults, cargo space that rivals some affordable compact SUVs and a class-exclusive Magic Seat that allows you to arrange the passenger seats to accommodate cargo like a tall plant or bicycle. The Honda Fit has a standard USB port and optional Bluetooth and navigation, which are typical features for the class, but some rivals offer these as well as infotainment systems and optional safety equipment like blind-spot monitoring.

Review 2013 Honda Insight User Manual Guide Owner Pdf Download

Review 2013 Honda Insight User Manual Guide Owner Pdf Download - The 2013 Honda Insight seats five and has front-wheel drive. All models are powered by a 1.3-liter four-cylinder engine and electric motor, which are paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Three trims are available: base, LX and EX. Each trim adds to the Insight’s list of interior features. The Insight received some updates last year and rolls into 2013 unchanged. As a result, this overview uses applicable research and reviews from 2012, as well as the current model year.
Google Images
Interior Honda Insight

Though some reviewers say that the Insight could offer higher-quality interior materials, most agree that its cabin features a practical design and solid construction. Still, some test drivers note that the Insight’s cabin is sparsely equipped. They mention that common standard features, such as a center armrest and a four-speaker stereo, are only available on higher trims.
Google Images
Other Cars to Consider

The Toyota Prius c is roughly the same price as the Insight, and it delivers significantly better fuel economy. The Prius c also comes with more standard features, including Bluetooth and a USB port.

The Volkswagen Golf has a high-quality interior and a spacious back seat that reviewers love. Although it isn’t available as a hybrid, an optional clean diesel engine helps the Golf earn great fuel economy estimates.

Reviews Honda Insight

The 2013 Honda Insight is powered by a four-cylinder engine and electric motor, which are paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Most reviewers agree that this powertrain helps the Insight get good fuel economy, but some also write that the Insight is one of the slower cars in the class. One test driver writes that the Insight's fuel-saving stop/start system makes the car shudder more than it should when the engine kicks on or off, and another writes that when the engine comes back to life, the transmission takes a second to reengage. The EPA reports that the Insight gets 41/44 mpg city/highway, which is respectable for a hybrid car. Still, the Insight’s main rival, the Toyota Prius c, uses significantly less fuel. Despite these concerns, some members of the automotive press praise the 2013 Insight for its composed handling. However, many test drivers also say that the Insight’s ride quality can be harsh and unrefined.

Critics are impressed by the Insight’s dash layout, which includes gauges that turn green when you drive in a fuel-efficient manner, but they’re also let down by its interior materials. They note that some plastics could be higher-quality, and that features like a center armrest aren’t available on the base model. The Insight’s seats could also use improvement, as reviewers say that the back seat is especially short on legroom. While the front seats are more spacious, some critics write the seat cushions don’t offer enough support to be comfortable on long trips. Cargo space is good however, and reviewers note that the Insight’s hatchback design and split-folding rear seats offer more utility than most hybrid cars. The Insight is also priced less than most hybrids, but it doesn’t come with many standard features. The base model comes with automatic climate control and a two-speaker stereo with an auxiliary input jack, while available features consist of Bluetooth, a navigation system with backup camera and two upgraded stereo systems that include a USB port.

The Sienna has a lower starting price than the Odyssey, plus offers available all-wheel drive and a four-cylinder engine. The Sienna also has more cargo space than the Odyssey, though it isn’t as fun to drive.

If your main concern is putting cash in college funds, the Kia Sedona is a good choice. While it’s not as stylish or as high-tech as the Sienna or Odyssey, the Sedona has a low base price, a long warranty and excellent crash test scores, which are all good, practical considerations for minivan buyers.

All trims come with a V6 engine matched to a five-speed automatic transmission". 2013 sees new standard equipment, which include Bluetooth, a touch-screen infotainment system, USB port and a backup camera. The Pilot hasn’t been redesigned since 2009, so this overview uses applicable research and reviews from the 2009 to 2013 model years.

Other SUVs to Consider

The Chevrolet Traverse is a good alternative to the Pilot because of its solid reliability rating and excellent cargo space. Reviewers think the Traverse is a good all-around SUV with a comfortable interior and car-like handling. It also has excellent safety scores.

Honda Pilot Interior

Reviewers can’t agree on the 2013 Pilot’s fit and finish. Some say that the Pilot has too many subpar materials in the cabin, while others say it is up to class standards. Auto critics do agree that the Pilot is spacious and has a comfortable first and second row, but differ on the seating comfort in the third row. According to test drivers, the Pilot’s audio and climate controls are easy to use and logically placed. Cargo space is slightly above average for the class.
Google Images
Reviews 2013 Honda Pilot
